Setting Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria form the backbone of the app, determining which initiatives respondents qualify for based on their inputs. Follow these steps to configure eligibility criteria effectively:

Step 1 : Define an Eligibility Criteria Type

  1. Navigate to "Initiatives" in the top menu bar.

  1. Select "Eligibility Criteria Types" from the tabs.

  1. Click on "Add New Eligibility Criteria Type."

Step 2 : Add an eligibility Criteria

  1. Add a Name: Provide a descriptive name for the eligibility criteria (e.g., "Household Income").

  1. Select a Type : Choose the type that aligns with the answer type of the associated question (e.g., Number, Single Select).

  1. Add Answer Options : Enter the relevant answer options. These options should correspond to the setup in the associated question (e.g., income brackets like "< ₹50,000", "₹50,000 - ₹1,00,000").

  1. Set Text in Multiple Languages : Ensure the eligibility criteria text is available in all required languages for better accessibility and understanding.

  1. Click Save (💾) to finalize the eligibility criteria type.

Step 3 : Map Eligibility Criteria to a Question

  1. Return to the Questionnaire.

  2. Locate the question you want to link with eligibility criteria and click on the gear icon.

  1. Check the checkbox labeled "Map Eligibility."

  1. Select the eligibility criteria you created from the dropdown menu.

  1. Click on Save.

How It Works :

  • The mapped eligibility criteria act as a filter, evaluating the respondent's answers against the pre-defined conditions.

  • Based on this evaluation, the app automatically determines the respondent's eligibility for specific initiatives.

Example : If you create an eligibility criterion named "Monthly Income Bracket" and map it to the question "What is your household's monthly income?", respondents who select an income below ₹50,000 might automatically qualify for certain financial aid initiatives.
