Adding a Village
Similar to the block adding Villages unlike States/Provinces and Districts are optional but they provide a more structured and granular view to run field operations.
Steps to Add a New Village
Step 1: Log in to the portal.
Step 2: Navigate to the Locations module from the main navigation menu.

Step 3: Click on the village tab and click on Add New Village button in the top-right corner.

Step 4: Fill out the following fields in the sequence outlined below:
State/Province: Select the user’s region from the prepopulated list of States in the organisation.
District: Choose the district relevant to the selected State from the prepopulated list.
Block: Choose the block relevant to the selected District from the prepopulated list.
Village: Enter the Village name.
Status: Check the box to activate the location across the organization.

Step 5: Review all entries for accuracy.

Step 6: Click the Translate
button at the right of the form to add translations or multi-language text if necessary

Step 7: Click the Save (💾) button at the right of the form once all details are filled in.
Step 8: A success message will appear, confirming that the new village has been added successfully.

Importing Villages
The Import Village feature enables administrators to bulk-upload multiple villages at once, simplifying the village setup process. Follow the steps below to import village:
Steps to Import Villages
Navigate to the location module from the main navigation menu.

Click the "Download Template" button
. This will download the Village Import Template.Fill in the details in the downloaded template as instructed. Refer to the screenshot below to verify the available fields in the template.

Blocks Tab on the File
Save the template on your local drive.
Return to the Village section, click the Import button
to select the saved template file.Review the import summary to ensure all villages were successfully added. Address any errors, if necessary.
