Discontinuing an Intiative

In certain scenarios, it may be necessary to discontinue an initiative. Discontinuing an initiative removes it from active operations, ensuring it is no longer accessible for modifications or beneficiary interactions. Please note that once an initiative is discontinued, it cannot be reactivated. This action is irreversible and should be performed with caution.

Steps to Discontinue an Initiative

  1. Navigate to the Initiative List

    • Go to the section where all initiatives are listed.

    • Locate the initiative you wish to discontinue.

  2. Select the Initiative

    • Scroll all the way to the right.

    • Click on this icon to discontinue the initative.

  3. Choose the Discontinue Option

    • A confirmation dialog box will appear to prevent accidental discontinuation.

  4. Review the Confirmation Message

    • The system will display a message indicating that discontinuing the initiative is a permanent action and that it cannot be reactivated once discontinued.

  5. Confirm Discontinuation

    • If you are certain, click "OK" to proceed.

    • The initiative will be marked as discontinued and removed from active operations.

Data Retention: The data associated with the discontinued initiative (e.g., reports, beneficiary records, or historical data) will still be accessible for auditing or reporting purposes.
